Thank you for all your messages and emails.
I am sure you all have read about the awful and shocking events in Oslo Friday 22.07.11. We have all been in shock and grief over what happened, the bombing in Oslo and the terrorist attack on the youth camp at Utøya. The bomb in Oslo went off close to where I work, where I walk everyday. It is hard to explain how I felt when I got the message that a bomb went of right by my office, just minutes after the explosion. I was not in our offices, but many of my co-workers was working when the bomb went off. Thankfully, none of them were hurt. Many, many others were not that lucky. My heart goes out to all that have been strucked by this tragedy.

Last friday I was invited to a fashinable party. Costume (Norways biggest and most fashionable magazine) held a cool party in the event of their 5 year anniversary. The party was great, as I went with my friend Espen Hilton and had a blast talking to a lot of cool people. Roza Taslimi was our photographer for the night, and she took some amazing pictures.

I am in love with this dress that I wore for a photoshoot for minMote.no and VG. Love the silk and cut of the vintage dress, its amazing how you can find such treasures from another time in vintage and secondhand stores. So many of my favorite dresses are vintage, I feel lucky to be a part of another time when I wear them, and I also think its a great way to help save the environment. In spite of having a nasty flue, I had an amazing time in London. Met up with some of my favorite bloggers like Garance Dore, Scott, Schumann, Sandra from 5inchandup, and so many, many more. Cool party of the week, Mulberry (top picture, with Duan and Jan Gunnar in a vintage dress with earrings from Norwegian designer Nina Jarebrink). Had a blast with all the Norwegian stylists and journalists. Show of the week, Burberry. I also did an interview with Christopher Bailey and got a little bit starstruck! Fashion Weeks

I been super busy with Fashion Weeks, and its been a lot of fun. If you want to see my interviews, they are all over at minmote.no, but most of them are in norwegian. This upcoming week its Oslo Fashion Week and then its of to London. Cant wait to get away from the snow!

In Copenhagen and Stockholm I was able to walk around in shoes, not boots, what a luxury! I also bought a pair of Maison Martin Margiela phyton shoes (on the last picture) on sale for 70 percent off, nice bargain. I also got the pink pants from CM for 10 dollars, quite happy with my shopping, even though that was all I had time for.

I am sooo sick of winter and can hardly wait for spring to arrive, so I am offering a pictures without snow on the ground. One trend I most definitely will be going for this summer, is the 90s inspired bootcut and the 70s flare. I bought these bootcut jeans from Joe´s in LA last year, and they were a favorite last summer. I will also be sporting som block colors (especially pink and red), 70s flowing dresses and easy minimalism. What are your favorite trends for spring?

New year, new combinations. I have been mesmerized by the red leather pants since Isabel Marant sent them marching down the runway. Since bying a pair from IM is out of my budget, I have patiently awaited the highstreet versions. When COS did, I was to late, but I finally managed to get my hands on these babies at H&M. I am so happy, cant wait for the weather to warm up, so that I can use them with my pointy stilettos. Oh, and I love my new coat and handbag from Zara, the coat was a good deal on sale and the handbag a early christmas present.

Christmas is just a couple of days away. I cant believe how fast this fall went, its like it was just August, and I was in New York. However, the Norwegian winter has been cruel so far, much colder than it has been in years. I am covering up in fake fur, boots and layers of wool. I am almost done with all my christmas presents and this weekend we are going to pick up a tree. I cant help but feeling blessed, the most important about Christmas to me, is to be around the people I love. Hope you all are enjoying the pre Christmas festivities!

Oh, yes I was one of those who got in line at 08.00 in the morning to snatch up my favorite pieces from the Lanvin for H&M collection. I was very happy when I got my hands on my two favorite dresses, the pink and the purple asymmetrical dress. At our Christmas party last friday, I wore the pink dress, and I have never gotten so many compliments in my life. A day to remember. Did you guys buy anything from the collection?

Sorry for being such a bad blogger. Sometimes it is just necessary to shut down. I have spent the last two and a half weeks in LA with friends. Had a wonderful time, have charged my batteries and ready for new and exciting action. Drove up the coast to San Luis Opisbo with my husband, spent a wonderful couple of days at Sycamore Springs and Hadsten House in Solvang. Celebrated Halloween with lots of fascinating people and got dressed up as Sammy Jo from Dynasty. Managed to drag my amazing friends to some shopping in Beverly Hills, were I among other things picked up this Rocco bag from Alexander Wang. Its already a favorite in my closet! Now I am off to check out what you all have been doing this past couple of weeks.

This is what I wore to the G-Star Raw show. Felt like dressing up. I actually bought this dress on a sale 1 hour before I went to Pier 92. I was there to see the show and whatch Magnus Carlsen (the Norwegian chess player amd G-Star Raw model) walk the red carpet with Liv Tyler. Loved the vibe backstage after the show. Bumped into Kelly Osbourne, a Norwegian top model and some True Blood stars. Afterwards we went to Cipriani for dinner and G-Star afterparty and Mulberryparty. Had an amazing time!

New York Fashion Week

In case you have been wondering were I have been, its been madness at New York Fashion Week. Working 17-hours days, but also having some fun between going to shows, interviews and parties. You can also follow my blog at minMote.no, its not always easy to update when I am working that much.
Anyways, here I am at the Mulberry show at Soho House, such a cool and laidback show. Loved the setting at the roof, the strong colors in the collection and of course the handbags and boots. I am dying for an Alexa handbag with zebra stripes for spring!

I find myself drawn to light leather this summer. Paired with cotton t-shirts and heels, it is quickly becoming a staple in my wardrobe. On my birthday I actually went to a summer sale and picked up this skirt, a blue and black leopard dress, a jacket and another leather skirt with linings for a bargain.

Hi Girls!

Hope you all are well. This week has been extra crazy and on friday I was lucky enough to travel to London to meet the whole cast of Sex and The City2. It was a huge experience and so much fun, I dont know were to start to telling you about it. I got to meet all the girls, Michael Patrick King (so nice!) and Chris North at Claridges for some afternoon tea. I was wearing a dress by Norwegian designer Leila Hafzi and it was a huge hit with everyone, and a real icebreaker when you are journalist number 200 in line. Last week we spent a whole day playing dress up in the studio. Love the looks and we had such a fun day working it in front of the camera, taking new pictures for minMote. The red dress (a favorite) is vintage, borrowed from a very cool store called Flashdance in Oslo, while I am wearing a dress from H&M Fashion Against Collection (which will be available in stores tomorrow) in the last picture. So sorry for missing in action, but there was something wrong with mye Google account. At least I figured it out! Its been a hectic few weeks with lots to do. A couple of days ago I was invited to check out Mulberrys fall collection. Must say that I like the brand better and better, and I really fell for the Alexa bag in the picture. Love the print for fall, so cool and different. Should I get it? Its not a classic color, but I love the print. Wonderful french food and wine. Visiting a museum is a must. We opted for the YSL exhibition and it was a wonderful experience. I am a huge fan of the late designers work and spent hours admiring the collections on display. Highly recommended.

Sharing some more photos from our trip to Paris. Wish I was there right now! Sun, warmer weather, open toe shoes and amazing food and wine are just some of the allures of the french capital. I planned on a lot of shopping, but ended up with almost nothing, which have never happened before. However, I decided the weather was much to nice for shopping, and that I would rather enjoy my days of with my husband, drinking wine and enjoying the marvels of french food. Have a great weekend!

From Paris with Love

Spent easter in Paris drinking wine and enjoying Spring at the sidewalk cafès. After weeks of hard work is was nothing short of amazing, and there is quite something about Paris in the Spring that holds a special kind of allure. We stayed at a wonderful hotel with a Spa and just enjoyed life to its fullest. I almost did not do any shopping (gasp), but ended up having an amazing time just relaxing, soaking up the sun and the culture. But I did end up getting those very cool Jeffrey Campell cloggs on ebay before I left, love them!

Yesterday I was invited to the Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards in Oslo. I had a blast relaxing with friends and listening to A1. Had a minor fashion crisis before going out, but picked up this light pink dress at the last minute. It felt wonderful dressing in lighter colors and I love the neckdetail. Bought this wonderful fluffy jacket in Copenhagen while running around between Fashion Shows. Love the purple color, the picture does not do it any justice. Thank you for all your nice comments! I am finally feeling a little better and getting my energy back, it has been 2 very hectic and fun months. As you can see, it is still a lot of snow, but its slowly starting to melt. Went shopping yesterday and found the perfect trenchcoat for spring. For me the cut, style and shape is very important. Love the puff sleeves on this one, definitely a keeper from Zara. Its been three both amazing and exhausting weeks. I have been travelling and running from shows to shows, with very few breaths and hours of sleep in between. What I am left with is a notion that designers simply are going for their signature looks for fall, wether its classic and clean, funny and colorful, edgy and mysterious. I must say that there are few suprises for fall, we have seen a lot of the same before. However, how you decide to play with fashion and put it together is on a whole different level. Sorry for being missing in action for so long. I have spent the last 4 days in Sweden at Stockholm Fashion Week. It has been hectic, intense, and fun! I have been sitting front row, interviewed designers and others, appeared on TV about fashion and running around in the snowstorm like crazy, always trying to catch the next fashion show. Today I am meeting up with some friends and just relaxing before another hectic week. I am a huge fan of simplicity these days, and gray and black is a great color combination. I got these boots on loan for a competition at minMote, so we took these shots outside yesterday. I think they are pretty cool. For a couple of Saturdays I am judging the outfits for the MGP-Norwegian (Eurovision Song Contest) finalist here in Norway with our MGP-expert Jostein Pedersen. You can check it out here. Its so much fun and we are having a great time! On Saturday I decided to wear my vintage sequined jacket that I picked up in New York and my new jeans from Made In Heaven. I know a lot of celebs love them, and its easy to see why. My jeans are called The Oslo Jean (isnt that funny?), and are my new favorite jeans of the moment.

Still cold

Its just freezing in Oslo. On friday I was in such a rush that I left the house in jeans and ended up with frost bites on my legs. Of course I got sick, so the whole weekend has been spent inside just relaxing and trying to get better. They say the worst of the cold is over, but its still freezing and the temperature have not changed that much yet. I do hope that it gets better soon, its such a challenge to look good when its that cold. Well, at least I will never go out without wool tights in this weather again. Staying inside today, its simply to cold to be outside. At least I get to shop online and prepare my spring wardrobe while I dream of warmer weather.

Freezing

It is freezing in Norway right now, and its going to be even colder tomorrow. They say it will drop under -20/-4 farenheit, which is freezing cold. So, its safe to say that we have to pull out the layers. I am so happy my husband talked me into buying this faux fur jacket in NY, its so warm and cosy. I am one of those people who always freeze, but this jacket keeps me warm. I also got a new handbag that I am very excited about, perfect cognac color for spring.

White Christmas

After three days of snowfall, it finally stopped snowing. But this is really what we call a white christmas. Every branch, tree and house is covered in snow. It feels a little like magic really. Hope you all are enjoying your holiday no matter if its snowing or the sun is shining.

I love Christmas. Sleeping in, decorating the Christmas tree and just relax with family and friends. Outside the snow is falling, on the radio they are playing christmas songs, and I am enjoying it all with a big cup of hot chocolate. Tonight we are having the traditional Christmas dinner and opening the presents as we do here in Norway on Christmas Eve. I love Target. Whats not to love? Miles of clothing, make-up, furniture and a electronics department to leave your guy in. I always find tons of good stuff here, especially work out gear, cheap sunglasses and I also love their designer collaborations. I was hoping to see some Rodarte samples, but it was way to early. From what I have seen from pictures it really looks fab. Will you be shopping for Rodarte at Target?

Cocktails in LA

In LA, I used it when we went out for cocktails and drinks. I love to dress up, so it might not come as a suprise that I go all out when I have the possibility. I managed to score this fantastic vintage Chanel bag for a steal at Michael`s Vintage in New York. I am so happy with it, its really amazing in size and the condition is very good for a vintage bag. I really wanted to add a shopper (to use everyday) to my collection. Its old from use, but new to me.

I finally managed to get my hands on a pair of cool leopard boots in New York. They were on sale, so it was a real bargain. These make any outfit pop and I am planning on wearing them to at least one christmasparty. Love NY in the evening, going out for drinks and good food, we had so much fun. Bryant Park was so different without the fashion tents, but it was lovely with the stands and ice rink.

New York

I am so sorry about not updating for the last two weeks. But I have been on a much needed vacation in New York & Los Angeles. I have had so much fun meeting up with old and new friends. Sometimes a boost is needed and this was definitely it. I will post pictures from my trip and all my recent shopping excursions, I got so many great bargains on our trip. Two days of bad weather did not stop us from enjoying New York. Picked up this big umbrella right away and that kept me dry and stylish the whole day. Love Central Park and the Boathouse. We went both a sunday for brunch and another day for lunch. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A night at the Opera

Just got home from a night at the Opera. Where I experienced three ballet stories from Spanish Nacho Duato. The new Norwegian Opera House is really worth a visit if you are ever in Oslo. It is situated by the sea like a huge stone of ice. The architecture is amazing and a real treat for those with a love for design. Thank you for all the wonderful comments on the post below!

This jacket was one of the bargains I picked up in New York during NY Fashion Week. Its so fluffy and warm and perfect for Norways chilly fall weather. I love the fall colors, the way everything just get so fresh, the colors, smells and the crisp air. Today I am meeting some friends and just relaxing after a week filled with press viewings of next spring & summer fashion, and viewing of the new Jimmy Choo line for H&M. I am definitely getting my hands on one of the dresses and a clutch, when it hits stores at the 14 of November. Hope you are having a wonderful saturday!

I spent yesterday working on different projects but also meeting up with friend Line for a nice lunch in the sun. Its getting colder here and I find myself being drawn to black and greys. But I have not given up on color yet, grey and pink is another favorite of mine that I will be wearing very soon. I am also so into the Alexander Wang braid, its the perfect hairdo for bad hairdays. I just tease my hair, put in some longer extensions and braid it from the side. A five minute perfection. This weekend I am off to visit one of my favorite vintage shops, so hope I hope to pick up some good bargains.

Fall in Oslo

Its really getting cold in Oslo. This is what I was wearing a couple of days ago and one of my favorite outfits for fall. Besides all the faux fur I have picked up, a leather jacket and the studded bag from Zara is perfect wardrobe essentials for me. I also try to wear my open toe shoes as long as possible, so over the knee socks are a great solution. I have not found any over knee boots that I like yet, I think many ends up looking like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but the search continues this weekend.

Just got home from work and finshed watching The Rachel Zoe Project, Season 2, courtesy of Youtube. I must say that I love the show, its hilarious and fun on so many levels. Season 2 did not yet disappoint and it all seemed like crazy madness fashion bananas! I am dealing with my own crazy life of the moment, I am telling you, theres just not enough hours in a day to make it all work. Next week I have fittings, clients, a makeover, and on Saturday I am going to be part of a huge event at Jernbanetorget, a fashion show and party that will last all day. I got this award from the ever so lovely Janet and it comes with the notion of revealing 10 interesting things about yourself. So here we go:

1. I always double check that the coffee/teamaker has been switched of, I also check that all the doors are locked, twice.

2. I cant live without chocolate, it would literally kill me. My favorites are M&Ms or Norwegian chocolate and I only need one little piece a day.

3. There is nothing quite like windowshopping in another country. I can spend hours in front of a beautiful store, if the window display is beautiful enough.

4. I am a Gemini, so I am very impatient. I always start a new project before I finish another. I also have dual sides, my husbands always jokes about that he married to different girls.

5. I am always on the hunt for vintagetreasures both clothes and furniture. To me they hold a story, a different kind of life, which makes them very interesting.

6. I hate the cold. I know, I live in the wrong country. Thats why I loved LA and the four years we spent there. There something about the sun that always make me in a good mood and put a smile on my face.

7. I love my job and I love fashion. I guess people say that all the time, but really, I believe I am very blessed. I could not imagine getting up in the morning if I was not passionate about what I do.

8. I use to always put myself down. I still do, but I am getting better. Believing in yourself and that you can do it no matter what, is a thing I think a lot of women struggle with.

9. I have to read before I go to bed. Its like I need to turn out the lights with something else than fashion. Preferably crime novels. The worse, the better.

10. I love Rachel Zoe. I know lots of people hate her and all that, but I do find her funny and see her as a woman of inspiration. She knows her stuff and shes sticking to it. Thats to me, is good business sense and dedication.

New summer dress

I am in love. You all know I love dresses, and this cought my eye right away. It reminds me of something of the Gucci spring catwalk. But at a price I can afford. I love the blue snakeskin print.

After a crazy day at the office, I mean can you believe the King of Pop is dead? Michael Jackson was one of my favorite artists and style icons in the late 80s. It still feels surreal and very sad that he has passed. I will always remember him as a style icon with that sequin glove, military jackets (so Balmain) and sequined jackets. Billy Jean is a classic I will never tire off.

I also popped by Zara today, and got some amazing high heels in blue on sale that goes perfect with this dress. Summer indeed. Happy friday, everyone!

Spring in Copenhagen

Spending easter break in Copenhagen was a wonderful experience. Not only was it much warmer than Oslo, it was a feast for the eyes and the senses. As you might have guessed, I love to travel. It gives me new energy and inspiration in a whirlwind world. Dont miss out on the beautiful castles and mansions outside of the city. Only ten minutes away by train lies lovely Charlottenlund.

There is always people enjoying the sun at the Rådhusplassen. Sit in the sun, listen to music and watch people walk on by.

Wearing: Trench from Lindex, tights H&M, Shoes of ebay, Scarf pashmina and Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag. When sighsteeing, I like to be both comfortable and stylish. I dont walk for hours and hours in high heels, because then I know I will have to go back and change. Worth seeing is Tivoli, shopping at Strøget, Charlottenlund, the little Mermaid (the statue bye the sea), the round tower. Eat at ChitChat and Søren K.

And visit all the small vintage and secondhandshops in the city. Glam in Silkegade has beautiful party dresses and lots of accessories.

TimesUp is more exclusive and has vintage pieces from YSL, Balenciaga and Christian Dior. A little more expensive, but great items, so a must see. I also visited Wasteland, The Second Way and Carmen and Fantasio. Read my Norwegian post at minmote. Inspite of all the lovely shops, I did not score that much vintageitems, due to the fact that a lot of the dresses were so big in size. But I managed to grab some bracelets and a jacket. After that we went shopping at Strøget and I manged to pick up these two pairs of shoes from Aldo.

I also recomend a visit to the shoppingcenters Magasinet and Illum to check out the Danish designers, Holly Golightly and Marc Jacobs. What I love about this city is that most shops are in walking distance, so you just put on your best shoes and start the adventure.

Som dere kanskje har skjønt, har det foregått mye med bloggen i det siste. Jeg kan nå røpe at VG Nett imorgen lanserer minMote, som er et nettsted for mote, skjønnhet, tilbehør og shopping. Jeg flytter bloggen min over til minMote, som jeg har meget stor tro på. Nettstedet er en blanding av artikler, video og blogg og her burde det være noe for enhver fashionista. Imorgen får dere se alt vi har jobbet med den siste tiden. Jeg er stolt av være med i et team som har laget en nettside som jeg tror vil appellere til alle jenter med sans for mote. As I have mentioned before, I got some very exciting news regarding the blog. I am moving to a new Norwegian fashion site called minMote. My blog looks like the design pictured, and I could not have been more excited. I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing team, and can not wait to see the reactions to the site tomorrow. Don Johnsen som Sonny Crockett i kultserien Miami Vice, smeltet mange ungpikehjerter på 80-tallet (inkludert undertegnede). Nå har jeg lenge vært på jakt etter den perfekte hvite blazeren. På Zara fant jeg denne modellen og kombinert med korall t-skjorten fra Gina (helt tilfeldig) er jeg rett tilbake i solfylte Miami. Den hvite blazeren skal også brukes som vårjakke, til svart som sett på Mary-Kate Olsen under Fashion Week og mye mye annet. Og ja, det rosa Iphone coveret er skikkelig girly og skaper alltid reaksjoner fra gutta på jobben. Men jeg digger fargen og det er vel det som betyr noe?

I am giving Don Johnsen in the 80s series Miami Vice a run for his money. I remember watching the series with all the white suits, pink, green and peach colors. It was pure coincidence that I had on the coral Gina t-shirt, but I must say that I like the look for summer. I am going to use the jacket with black, as seen on Mary-Kate during New York Fashion Week, with jeans and over summer dresses. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Det fantastiske været har en utrolig påvirkning på humøret mitt, alt er så mye letter når det er sol. Det var så utrolig deilig å kunne ta på seg en skinnjakke med en ullkardigan under, istedenfor alle de store vinterjakkene. Spaserte hjem etter en begivenhetsrik dag på jobb hvor jeg blant annet ble intervjuet om fotballtrenernes stil på kamp (supermorsomt, så skal linke når det kommer ut) og mye mye mer.

It seems that Spring finally has decided to pay us a little visit, and I could not be happier. Just a little sun is enough to put me in a great mood and give me more energy. I love the fact that today I could just put on a leather jacket and a cardigan, instead of all the winter jackets. Heaven indeed.

Disse skoene fra Forever21 er rålekre og et kupp til under 200 kroner. Perfekte med strømper i, når det nå blir tørt på bakken. Kjenner du at våren kommer?

Love these fab shoes from Forever 21. They are a steal at 27 dollars and will be perfect for Spring weather. If the snow will ever disapear I can use them with tights before it gets warm enough to wear them barefoot.

Makeup Testing: Smashbox lippgloss

Jeg er den jenta som til enhver tid har 4-5 lipglosser i vesken. Jeg elsker å prøve nye farger og var spent da jeg skulle teste ut Smashbox sin nye lipgloss Lip Paint, i fargen Artiste. Siden jeg har så mange forskjellige merker allerede, er jeg veldig kresen når det kommer til farge, konsistens og glans. Lip Paint er derfor altfor fet og klissete for meg, men passer dem som liker en litt seig konsistens. Fargen var kjempefin, men dette var ingen ny lipglossfavoritt for meg.

I always have about 4-5 different lip glosses in my handbag. I like different colors for day and night, summer and winter. When I tried out the latest lipgloss Lip Paint from Smashbox I was very disappointed. The gloss is far to sticky and I did not like the taste of it (I wonder how much lippstick and gloss women swallow every year?). The only thing I liked was the color, but thats not enough in my book.

Er det ikke deilig med de dagene det egentlig skjer svært lite? Idag har vært en slik dag. En liten tur ut resulterte i en deilig kaffe latte og et par moteblader, så nå er jeg veldig fornøyd. Som jeg nevnte i forrige post, er jeg i disse tider opptatt av å bruke de plaggene jeg allerede har på en ny måte. Du kan si at jeg shopper i mitt eget klesskap (anbefales på det sterkeste). Denne vesken kjøpte jeg på et loppemarked ifjor for 15 kroner og den minner meg om en veske bestemor hadde da jeg var liten. Den passer like fint til et hverdagsantrekk som til fest. Ha en fin lørdag!

After a tough week, I decided that I was going to relax and really do as little as possible. But of course I had to pick up my favorite coffee and a stack of new magazines. As mentioned in my last post, I am shopping in my own closet these days. I picked up this vintage clutch at a flea market last year for about two dollars, and I love it. It reminds me of something my grandma used to have. I think it works both for day and night. Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone! PS: I misunderstood, so my friend (and hairdresser) are coming to town next weekend. Thats leaves me with a week to think about that new haircut.

Breakfastshopping at H&M. Madness, croissants and coffee.

New trends: Color, flower prints, animal prints, baggy jeans, zipper details, leather jackets and so much more. I ended up buying two tops, one in animal print and one black with butterfly arms.

After a day at work, it was time for more work and check out the latest in wedding trends.

Hard at work, or having fun at work. Interviewing Anne Karlsen about the latest wedding trends. Tulle, chiffon and lace seemed to dominate the catwalk. Wearing a old H&M jacket with the puff shoulders, that are coming back this season (I am finding a lot of oldies in my closet lately).

Igår startet dagen med frokostshopping på H&M. Det var helt sinnsykt mye mennesker og i et øyeblikk skulle man ikke tro at vi er midt oppe i en finanskrise. Selv om jeg synes det var helt umenneskelig å shoppe, klarte jeg å få med meg to topper, en croissant og kaffe. Deretter bar det videre på jobb, før kvelden ble avsluttet med brudevisning på Glassmagasinet. Der var det mange gifteklare som hadde møtt opp for å finne frem i bryllupsjungelen. Årets brudekjoletrender går i chiffon, tyll og blonder. Skal du stå brud, er det mye å glede seg til. Sjekk ut innslaget på VGTV her.

Yesterday I had a whirlwind day. Fun, fun fun. The day started with breakfastshopping at H&M, then I was off to more work before going home to change before the evenings TV-job. Scouting out the latest trends in bridal fashion is always fun, and I had a blast as always. When I finally made it home at ten pm I was exhausted, but in a good way. To Do or Not To Do

Til helgen kommer frisøren min til byen. Hun er ikke bare frisøren min, men en av mine beste venninner. Jeg gleder meg til å se henne, prate over litt vin og selvfølgelig diskutere håret mitt. Jeg elsker stilen til Sienna Miller i Alfie og skulle gjerne ha hatt denne looken. Det er så utrolig fresht når du kan ha litt pannelugg som her, alt blir så mye tøffere. Nå har jeg allerede hatt pannelugg en gang (men det så ikke så bra ut), derfor vet jeg ikke helt om jeg tørr. Men det er iallefall noe å tenke på til helgen kommer. Har du ikke sett Alfie, leier du den idag, om så kun får å se på klærne, sminken og håret. Lovely!

This weekend my lovely friend and hairdresser is coming to town. She is one of my best friends and I cant wait to see her, have some wine and discuss my hair. I am debating a small change, some bangs like Sienna had in the movie Alfie. However, Sienna was amazing in the clothes, the smokey makeup and the hair, but I am not so sure it will look that hot on me. You see, I had bangs before, but they were nothing like these. But I can always think about it before the weekend comes...If you have not seen the movie, you should, if only for the clothes, makeup and hair.

Be a Bad Girl

Idag følte jeg jeg for å være en ekte "Bad Girl" og den følelsen viste seg å være helt riktig. Jeg må innrømme at jeg ofte strever (som så mange andre jenter) med å være en "Good Girl". Mote er en måte å få ut følelsene dine, å melde et budskap uten å si et ord. Derfor synes jeg det er helt fantastisk når folk erlærer at klær ikke betyr noe. Er det ikke slik at et førsteinntrykk dannes etter tre sekunder? Say no more. Et av plaggene jeg har som får meg til å føle meg som en Bad Girl, er denne vintagekjolen, et annet er lakkleggingsene. Har du et plagg som får deg i et Bad Girl humør?

Sometimes you just want to be a Bad Girl. There really is no feeling like it. I must admit I always strive to be the good girl, to make the right decisions, like our parents always thought us. Then it is really deliberating to play dress up as another character, if only just for a day. I do think clothes always says something about who you are, and what you want to be. Those people who says clothes is not important, may forget that we all decided within 3 seconds if we like a person or not. To say your clothes does not matter, is a a lie, and maybe a deception. Today I feel like being a bad girl ( and what a wonderful feeling that is), so I decided to dress up in one of my favorite dresses. I think we all have those outfits in our wardrobe that makes us feel like a decadent Bad Girl. One of mine is this dress. Bring on the champagne.

Coral Love

Jeg er så lei av svart, brunt og alle de andre mørke fargene. Nå måtte jeg ha litt vårfarger inn i garderoben og korall og mintgrønn er kule oppkvikkere. T-skjorter er en billig investering og jeg falt helt for denne fra Gina. Korall er en sterk farge denne våren og er en av mine favoritter. Skulle ønske jeg var litt brunere, men det får gå. T-skjorten er iallefall perfekt inne i blazeren fra Lindex som jeg kjøpte på salg for et par uker siden. Imorgen skal jeg lese alle de siste motemagasinene, rydde i klesskapet (inspirert av Sharon)og møte venninner til lunch. GodHelg!

Just a shot of color was all I needed in my wardrobe. I am so sick of black, brown and all those other dark colors. I needed som spring colors, and coral and mintgreen are two of my favorites for this summer. I prefer to wear these colors with a little tan, but you cant have it all. I am so happy its weekend, tomorrow I am reading all my favorite magazines, decluttering my closet (inspired by Sharon) and hopefully meeting some friends for lunch. Have a great friday!

Make Up Testing: Youngblood Minerals Eyeshadow

Denne gangen var det Youngblood Minerals Eyeshadow i fargene Gemstones som skulle testes. Vanligvis bruker jeg MAC, Chanel eller Lancome sine øyenskygger, og er veldig fornøyd med kvaliteten på disse produktene. Jeg må si at jeg er kresen på øyenskygger, for noe av det værste jeg vet er når skyggen deler seg eller legger seg i klumper. Etter å ha brukt Youngblood ved flere anledninger, synes jeg at øyenskyggen sitter godt, uten å legge seg i lag. Det som jeg alltid synes er litt problematisk med fire øyenskygger i et, er at du aldri får fire farger som du liker like godt. Dermed ender du opp med å bruke 2-3 av de og den siste blir ubrukt. Det samme skjedde her, fordi det er tre lekre farger i brunt, cashmere og lys beige, mens den siste fargen er i en grønnfarge som absolutt ikke kledde meg.

This time around I am testing Youngblood Minerals Eyeshadow, in the colors Gemstones. I usually use MAC, Chanel and Lancome eyeshadow and I must say I liked the quality of the shadows. The only thing I dont like about those quads is that you always end up getting one color that you never use. Like this one, there is a green color that does not suit me at all. Thats why I usually pick the colors I like at the MAC counter, because you can choose exactely what you want. Do you feel the same way?
